Terms and Conditions for Soft Play and Bouncy Castle Hire.

1. General Agreement By hiring soft play equipment and/or bouncy castles from Pearlfect Little Co Ltd, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are in place to ensure the safety of all users and the proper maintenance of our equipment.

2. Eligibility

  • The equipment is strictly for children aged 1 to 8 years unless stated otherwise.

  • Adult supervision is mandatory at all times during use.

  • Under no circumstances should adults or older children use the equipment as it may pose safety risks or cause damage and invalidate insurance.

3. Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your party/event booking.

  • Full payment must be made 7 days before the hire date.

  • Late payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.

4. Delivery and Setup.

  • Our team will deliver, set up, and dismantle the equipment.

  • The hirer must ensure that the setup area is flat, clean, and free of obstructions or hazards.

  • Access to the setup area must be clear and safe for our staff and equipment.

5. Safety Rules

  • Equipment must only be used under constant adult supervision.

  • Food, drinks, face paints and sharp objects are strictly prohibited on or near the equipment. We will not hire out to an event with anything present that may cause damage to equipment including but not restricted to: face paint, glitter, pens, silly string or slime; food that causes staining such as blueberries, strawberries, ketchup, food containing food dye.

  • Shoes, glasses, and other hard or potentially harmful items must be removed before use.  Socks must be worn.  Supervising adults must remove heels and any chairs must be kept away from our mats as these items cause holes.

  • Any food or drinks left on the castle or soft play will result in loss of your damage deposit.

  • Climbing on walls, sides, or the roof of bouncy castles is not permitted.

  • Maximum occupancy limits, as stated by Pearlfect Little Co Ltd, must be adhered to at all times. These are stated on the rules boards provided with the products.

6. Equipment Conditions for Use

Inflatables (Bouncy Castle & Bubble House):

  • All inflatables need adequate space to operate safely and will be set up and secured by a member of our team.

  • We require a power socket within the area for the blower to be operated.

  • The inflatables must NOT be moved once the staff member has finished the setup. If you would like it moved then please let the staff member know before they leave.

  • Our inflatables must be weighted down using sandbags or ground pegs to prevent the inflatable from moving out of position. 

  • There must be a minimum of 0.5m (1.5ft) from the building wall to the side of the inflatables.

  • When hiring our 12ft x 10ft large bouncy castle children must be under 1.2m.

  • When hiring our 7ft x 7ft small bouncy castle children must be under 1m.

  • Area required for our large bouncy castle: 3.6m x 3m x 2.3m (12ft x 10ft x 7.5ft) area of flat and clear space. 

  • Area required for our small bouncy castle: 2.1m x 2.1m x 2.2m (7ft x 7ft x 7.2ft) area of flat and clear space.

  • Our inflatables are made to BSEN14960 standards and are PIPA tagged and tested - an inspection scheme to ensure that inflatable play equipment conforms to recognised safety standards.

Bubble House:

  • Our bubble house needs adequate space to operate safely and will be set up and secured by a member of our team.

  • The bubble house requires a flat and clear space 4.5m x 2.5m x 2.1m (14ft x 8ft x 7ft) to operate safely. 

  • We require a power socket near the bubble house to power the blower for the air. 

  • Our bubble house must be weighted down using sandbags to prevent the house from moving out of position. 

  • The bubble house requires the airlock to be operated properly to prevent any deflation and danger. 

  • IMPORTANT: Both doors on the bubble house CANNOT be opened at the same time. The outer door must be secured before the inner door is opened otherwise the house will deflate and will cause serious injury or death.

  • The bubble house cannot be occupied by more than 4 children at one time.

  • We require one responsibly trained adult to run the Bubble House. This person must stay with the bubble house at all times and control the air lock system.

Soft Play:

  • All soft play events require the use of play mats which are provided as part of the booking. 

  • All of the soft play equipment MUST stay on the play mats throughout the booking duration. This will prevent the equipment from becoming damaged or heavily soiled.

  • The soft play requires a space of 0.5m to the wall to ensure no children become injured from wall collisions. 

  • If you are unhappy with the position of the soft play area then please inform a member of staff before they leave your setup. 

Display Boards and Balloons: 

  • The display boards, apparatus and balloons need to be set up by a PLC member of staff. 

  • The boards need 0.5m of space behind them to allow for sandbags to anchor them down for safety. 

  • Children must NOT play or lean on the boards. They are to be used for display and photo purposes only. 

  • The display boards are for rental only and will be collected by PLC unless prior arrangements are organised. 

  • The balloon displays are for display only. The balloon garlands can be taken home after the party has completed if the hirer wishes at no extra cost.

  • Please be aware that balloons are inflated and will create a loud bang if popped.

  • Some of our balloons will be made of latex so please make this aware to your participants in case of allergy. 

  • If balloons are played with and thereby popped they are a choking hazard! Hirer responsible for supervision at all times.

6. Weather Conditions

  • For outdoor hires, the equipment cannot be used in adverse weather conditions, including rain, strong winds, or extreme heat/cold.

  • If the weather forecast predicts unsafe conditions, Pearlfect Little Co Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking.

  • If the wind speed is above 24 mph then we will NOT be setting up our bouncy castles in outside venues. We will measure the area on the day with our anemometer in the designated area.

  • Please always consider contingencies for when the weather could be bad.

7. Damage and Liability

  • The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment caused during the hire period due to misuse or negligence.

  • All equipment should be returned in the condition that it was hired otherwise this could result in loss of security deposit. 

  • If there is any damage sustained to any of the hired equipment requiring over £50 of repair cost then the hirer will have to pay the full costs within 7 days of the event.

  • Pearlfect Little Co Ltd accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained while the equipment is in use. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure proper supervision and adherence to safety rules.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made by the hirer within 7 days of the hire date will be charged full payment. 

  • In the event of cancellation by Pearlfect Little Co Ltd due to unforeseen circumstances, including unsafe weather conditions, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

9. Health and Hygiene

  • The equipment is cleaned and sanitised before each hire.

  • The hirer must ensure the equipment is returned in a clean condition. Additional cleaning fees will apply if excessive dirt or debris is present.

10. Collection and Return

  • All equipment must be ready for collection at the agreed time.

  • When events are taking place outside of the 10 mile radius we require a collection of 5pm to allow travel time.

  • Final collections are to be completed by 7pm anything later than this may incur an evening collection charge unless prior arranged.

  • This includes all balls to be back within the ball pit and any toys and soft play equipment to be placed on play mats at the end of the session.

  • Late returns or untidy equipment may result in additional charges which will be taken from the damage deposit.

  • Any deeply soiled or equipment that requires a deeper clean will be charged accordingly and will be liable to the hirer of the equipment.

  • Once our equipment is collected and inspected the damage deposit will be paid back to the hirer.

11. Insurance

  • Pearlfect Little Co Ltd holds public liability insurance. However, this does not cover negligence or misuse of the equipment by the hirer or users.

12. Agreement By signing the hire agreement or making a booking, the hirer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
